Miley Ray Cyrus the child of Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. She was born on the 23rd of November, 1993, in Franklin, Tennessee. She has five siblings - two half-brothers, a half-sister and a younger brother and sister. The parents named their daughter Miley in the hope that she will achieve greatness. Miley became her childhood name Smiley because of its cheerfulness. Ron Cyrus is her Democratic politician father. Cyrus first attended Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. Cyrus, along with her parents, relocated to Toronto Canada in 2001 at the age of eight. The father of Cyrus, Billy Ray played a character in the TV show Doc. At this point, Cyrus also decided to take on the role of an actor. The first role she played was alongside her dad in Doc (2001). Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003), in which she played a smaller role and was a huge success, too. The year 2005 saw Cyrus was cast as the lead on the Disney show Hannah Montana (2006), which follows a teenager who lives a double life as pop-star. Once again, her father appeared alongside her. The show went on to be an enormous success. Record sales, tour dates that sold out and contracts for merchandise were also signed. Cyrus was a teen-sized star. Cyrus has appeared on the screen in Hannah Montana (2006) and The Last Song (2010) along with Demi Moore, moved on into other roles.
